Christian Kiechel is a general practice civil litigation and appellate attorney, with the vast majority of his practice devoted to litigation. Since being admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 2020, Christian has represented clients in superior and district courts across North Carolina, before the North Carolina Court of Appeals, in North Carolina Business Court cases, before Clerks of Court, and in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.
Christian handles a wide variety of civil litigation matters, including defamation, fraud, unfair and deceptive trade practices, contractor disputes, real property disputes, partitions, and estate disputes. His practice also includes civil and criminal appeals, petitions for discretionary review, extraordinary writs, and select family-related matters in Iredell and Alexander counties, including abuse, neglect, dependency, and termination of parental rights cases. Christian is also known for taking on unusual and complex cases and finding practical ways to pursue favorable outcomes for his clients.
Christian graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He received his Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law, graduating with honors and in the top 15% of his class. During his time at Mercer, Christian received awards for academic excellence in conflicts of law and environmental law. He also worked as a conflicts of law research assistant and served as a mentor for first-year law students.
